Barre Studios with New-Mom Programs
Studios with prenatal and postnatal programs offer classes modified for pregnancy and recovery — barre's low-impact, supported nature makes it one of the more pregnancy-friendly boutique workouts, and dedicated new-mom classes take that further with proper modifications and, often, a community of other mothers. If you're expecting or recently postpartum, these are the studios set up for it. Every pregnancy and recovery is different, though, so check with your doctor or midwife before starting or continuing exercise.
