The workouts are really effective and challenging while also not being something I dread going to. The great pacing of the classes, along with the fun music, makes the time go by quickly in a good way. I’m never stuck thinking “when will this be over?” as can easily happen with other workouts.
Pure Barre is the only workout I’ve ever been consistent with. I find immense reward in the daily challenge and I absolutely love the community and the connections it inspires! As a veteran client of more than 10 years, I can tell you I still find it dynamic, interesting and challenging every class I take.
I am addicted. From the first class, I was warmly welcomed to the studio. The instructors are encouraging, firm and really get your seat moving! I love the atmosphere, the fast-paced classes and OMG the results. I am in love with feeling strong, doing push-ups and seeing the effects Pure Barre has on my body.
5/5 - great staff, refreshing workout classes. I have had a good exp here. There are always specials and deals being offered here. I have just purchased a punch card so far. I would like to share my personal exp was good from the start.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
