From the reviews
Pure Barre Conroe is one of my happy places! Helping my scoliosis by strengthening my body and keeping me more flexible and agile. The instructors are so sweet and helpful! I feel like we are one family !
I absolutely love this studio! All of the instructors are kind, professional, and genuinely sweet. Everyone here seems truly happy, which says a lot about how well the studio is run. You can really feel the positive energy the moment you walk in.
PBC is the best exercise program I’ve ever experienced, and it truly is beneficial for people of all ages. After 3½ years and more than 1,000 classes, I’ve seen remarkable improvements in a long-term leg injury, as well as significant gains in muscle tone, balance, and flexibility.
After trying a class at Pure Barre in Conroe, TX on West Davis, I was thoroughly impressed. As a doctor of Physical Therapy I was so happy to see such a great fitness community near our practice.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
