From the reviews
I have been taking classes at Barre563 since the studio opened. The studio is beautiful, clean, and everything is well-organized. I've taken classes from every instructor here, and they are all very knowledgeable and appropriately tough in terms of the content in their classes.
The instructors are so nice, the workouts are as intense and effective as you want to make them. If you focus on form and push yourself, you'll see results. I always feel very good and like I'm more aligned with better posture and have more energy and motivation after class. I have been attending for 1.
Love working out here. The instructor is excellent, the atmosphere is great, and the workout really works.
I went with my daughter for my first visit Oct 2016. I am not a gym person and very shy. I immediately felt welcomed at this studio. I have continued to go at least twice a week since. Everyone from the teachers to the students are friendly and encouraging. I absolutely love it!
Your first barre class at barre563
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
