From the reviews
Everyone, especially mamas/ladies who need a boost in their wellness, please consider this studio! This review is far overdue and should be considered a 6 star, as I can’t rave about Barre3 Belleview Station enough.
Barre3 Belleview station is amazing!! I was a competitive athlete for years, and after stopping really started to miss the team aspect of workouts. My friend referred me for a free class and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Love Barre3! Have been going to class frequently for over a month now and it’s by far one of my favorite workouts! All the instructors are so kind and inspiring, and the workouts have a great balance of strength and cardio. I genuinely look forward to class, and the community is very sweet and inclusive.
Barre3 method fits every body! I joined for the cross-training benefits with road running and discovered it helped me with balance on the trails and engaging glute and hamstring muscles I need throughout the day. The instructors at DTC are encouraging, friendly and fun. The music keeps me engaged.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
