From the reviews
I am a die hard Dailey Method fan. This is a 1-hour 'bar method' class with a serious focus on your lower abs. You do a short warm up, some weighted arm exercises and then killer squats at the bar. Even after a year I can't go very low! Then you are challenged to some very unique abdominal work.
User-friendly online or app class signup, purchasing and schedule. Very welcoming and supportive staff. Instructor is hands-on and personal. Super clean and modern space. Healthy, strengthening workout combining pilates, ballet and yoga techniques. Informative insights while in practice.
They have a lot of classes offered throughout the day, I like the weekend morning classes. A great workout that pushes you to your limits. The results are very good also. The studio is modern, clean, and spacious. The instructors are really professional and help correct your form, if needed.
I have tried other Barre/Pilates classes in the area, and Dailey Method is by far my favorite! The staff is incredibly friendly and the facilities are cozy, organized and sunshiney.
Your first barre class at Honor Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
