From the reviews
Asteya Collective Yoga Studio: A Sanctuary. If you're searching for a haven of peace, wellness, and community, look no further than Asteya. My experience at this studio has been nothing short of transformative, and I am thrilled to share.
Asteya Yoga Collective is a true sanctuary—a space that feels like coming home every time you step through the door. The energy here is warm, welcoming, and deeply intentional. Every teacher brings their own unique magic, creating classes that are rooted in integrity, presence, and purpose.
Asteya is far and beyond the best yoga studio I have been to anywhere between Encinitas and Oceanside. The studio is nice, welcoming, a lovely vibe and they offer an amazing schedule with a ton of options all day long. The main thing that sets Asteya apart is the teachers. They’re all super solid.
Asteya is not just a fabulous yoga studio, but an amazing community. Everyday consists of multiple different classes, teachers, and times. Doesn’t matter what your day looks like, there will be a class and time for YOU! The studio is very clean and well cared for.
Your first barre class at Asteya Collective
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
