Best barre studio I’ve ever been to! The atmosphere is so welcoming and calming, with upbeat music that energized the room. Stephanie the owner and instructor is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, providing clear instructions and offering modifications for all fitness levels.
So excited for this location! It feels like family as soon as you walk into the studio. High energy instructors led by a top notch audio owner, Britney. They are also hands on to make sure you have correct form and modifications if needed.
I started coming here a month ago, and I cannot say enough positive things!! When people ask me how I have been and what I have been up to, Barre 3 is the first answer I have. Seriously, I have been to lots of group fitness classes before, but none of them have come close to the experience here at this studio.
I have been going to Barre 3 studio for a total body workout for the last three years. I have been in an exercise routine most of my life and this by far is the best all-around workout that I have ever experienced. The studio is always very clean and fresh, and all of the instructors are five-star.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
