From the reviews
I started going to Pure Barre Doylestown about four months ago when I was looking for a workout that would compliment my current heavier weight workouts. I used to be a dancer and gymnast and was always very flexible growing up but after lifting heavy for a few years I had become very tight and felt that I wanted to…
Oh what a BURN!!! I have LOVED Pure Barre for almost a year now and their is nothing else like it! The way it makes you feel and how it changes your body... It's incredible! When you walk in the door you are always greeted with smiles!
I was nervous about going to Pure Barre but I’m so glad I did. I have never been good about sticking with a workout regimen, but Pure Barre holds you to it. The instructors are all fantastic - so helpful in making sure that you are getting the most out of your 50 minutes and super encouraging.
Very welcoming environment! I am from the area but live in Atlanta, since I'll be in town for a few weeks I decided to give this studio a try and will be back. Victoria was the instructor, her routine was intense but awesome for the target areas.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
