From the reviews
It took me long enough to try it, but here I am, addicted and all. Two months ago, I signed up for the monthly 4-pack, knowing that even once a week would be difficult to make. It was hard to get into my car for the 30+ mile drive to take one class.
I’ve been attending Pure Barre Hattie for about 2.5 years, and it has been an incredible experience. The supportive community and motivation I’ve found here are truly unmatched.
I never thought I would find my place where I would actually enjoy working out, but these women that work at PB Hattiesburg are the reason I finally found my place! They are so encouraging, kind, and welcoming. I moved here not knowing anyone in town and they made me feel so welcomed from day 1!
If you’re looking for a workout that will strengthen your mind, body, and soul, then Pure Barre is the place for you! It’s so much more than just a workout though. The community is like no other, cultivating new friendships each class.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
