The classes they teach

“If you like yoga, take Bar Flow (barre and yoga fusion) and if you want more sweat, take Bar Cardio (high intensity cardio barre class).”

From the reviews
Before SIP, I was a big fan of in person classes. I did Bar Method, boot camps, yoga, fitness clubs. I did not feel comfortable going back to in person, inside classes until I tried the Embarcadero Bar Method. I felt very safe! Everyone was mask up and the place was super clean.
I love this Bar Method location! It is such a great workout and they do an amazing job of coaching you on how to work your muscles to failure. I particularly love Grace’s Strength + Restore class with 45 minutes of barre followed by 15 minutes of stretching.
I tried the new studio with their one month trial offer, and loved it! I absolutely loved taking classes (almost) every day and trying new class types with different instructors. Special shoutout to Ana, Grace, and Kristina. The studio is clean and the equipment is great.
The staff is friendly. The instructors (Ana and Claire) are knowledgeable and caring. They keep an eye on you to make sure that you are doing the exercise in the right way and with the right posture. I have attended now 4 classes, and I feel stronger. I leave the class energized. A great way to start the day!
Teacher training at The Bar Method San Francisco - FIDI
The Bar Method San Francisco - FIDI comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming a barre instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — many boutique studios run a proprietary, method-specific training (Pure Barre, Bar Method, and barre3 each certify you in their own format), while others offer a more general barre certification you can teach anywhere. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — trainings often run as intensive weekend blocks or over several weeks, and most studios want you taking classes there regularly first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first barre class at The Bar Method San Francisco - FIDI
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: required here, and sold on-site if you don’t have a pair; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
