Almost every barre studio requires sticky grip socks — the little rubber-dotted socks that keep you from sliding on the floor during pulses and planks — and a studio that sells them at the desk is a small but real convenience, especially for your first class or the day you leave yours at home. Expect to pay somewhere around $12–20 a pair. Some studios include a pair in an intro offer, and most will happily point you to the rack.
