From the reviews
Pure Barre Kirkland & Bellevue (Mill Creek too) have the best coaches and community. Owner, Katie Wallis, has grown an amazing community and culture that just builds great habits, positive reinforcement, and the mental toughness needed to handle our days.
Well trained staff. The classes aren't repetitive as each coach can interject different ways of strengthening an area. There are classes that specialize in improving special areas of the body such as Define for strength & power; Classic for a full body workout; Align for strength, flexibility & balance and Empower for…
I love PB Kirkland! The instructors are great and the studio staff is very friendly and helpful. There are four different class types which is awesome - it's nice to be able to have such a variety based on how your body feels or what kind of workout you want to do certain days.
Motivating and challenging class with modification for different levels! I enjoy the very good teachers and how the intervals take you from one part of your workout to the next just when you think you can't do anymore.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: required here, and sold on-site if you don’t have a pair; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
