From the reviews
I am excited to be back (after a 6-year leave) at the barre. I am rediscovering just how much it truly is my happy hour. In class, the music is turned up and the world is turned off as you lift, tone and burn. As an elementary school teacher, it is definitely a wonderful release from the school day.
Very dissapointed in this studio. I am a Class Pass holder and eagerly showed up for my first class. Unfortunately, I was pressured into purchasing a pair of socks for $16 when I should've been made aware PRIOR! I declined the socks and the class. Update: Apparently, I missed the email from you guys.
I love Pure Barre because it’s constantly evolving and consistently challenging. The instructors and fellow class members create an encouraging, empowering environment that keeps me motivated.
Pure Barre Snellville is amazing! I feel very comfortable in class, which is a plus when working out. The instructors are very professional and encouraging- Edwina, Chantel, and Angie are amazing. I have been going consistently for about 3 months and I can already see a difference.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: required here, and sold on-site if you don’t have a pair; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
