I've tried many pilates studios over the years but have been truly blown away by DI Pilates. The pricing is accessible and they have a large offering depending on the types of classes you are interested in taking. The studio is beautiful with high quality equipment.
The last couple of years, between work and life, the stress all came together and caused me to lose focus on my health. I lost hope in gyms, boot camps, and online programs. DI Pilates is exactly what I needed. They have a team of instructors who are patient, loving, and motivating.
As a certified Pilates instructor myself - this is one of my favorite studios I’ve been to in Tampa. Every instructor is incredible. Robin, the owner is amazing, knowledgeable and kind. The studio is beautiful, clean and has the most amazing equipment. They have chair and tower too which is not at all studios.
Your first barre class at DI Pilates & Barre Studio
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: required here, and sold on-site if you don’t have a pair; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
