From the reviews
I absolutely love this studio. Been coming here since November of 2023 after looking for a place to workout that made me feel comfortable. Not only does Barre3 do this for me, but so much more. The positive energy and encouragement to push oneself is outstanding. The instructors are all super kind and helpful.
I tried Barre3 Los Altos studio a few years ago through Class Pass and had a great and eye-opening experience by then. However, since I focused more on yoga practice, I didn’t go back to Barre3 till recently when I heard about the partnership perk from YogaSix Campbell.
I recently took a barre class at Barre3 Willow Glen, and I was thoroughly impressed! The instructor was energetic, knowledgeable, and provided great cues throughout the workout, making it easy to follow even as a beginner.
Barre3 Willow Glen is fantastic! The classes are tough but addictive - I keep coming back even though my legs shake like a washing machine with an unbalanced load. Joy, Rachel, Cassandra, and Mikenna are all amazing instructors who somehow make you smile while your muscles are screaming.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: required here, and sold on-site if you don’t have a pair; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
