Accessible, challenging and invigorating barre workout! You’ll leave feeling brighter, stronger and more energetic. Owner Rachel brings a challenging class that is accessible to those brand new to exercise and challenging to the seasoned athlete. Fantastic, uplifting workout and cannot wait to return!
VIBE is a top notch studio with excellent instructors. Having tried barre at 7+ locations throughout Kentucky, I can say with confidence that VIBE is MY favorite. The teaching styles & areas of knowledge for Rachel, Dani, Meredith, and Ivy all complement one-another.
Ever since my first class, I've been recommending VIBE to anyone who will listen! I know they have a lot of different classes to offer (i.e. yoga, barre, dance, bootcamp, etc) but my personal favorite is the kickboxing classes with Chadwick.
I am so glad that I found VIBE! The classes are challenging but the atmosphere is so encouraging. Every instructor has been great about offering modifications for exercises and watching form to make sure that no one is risking injury. I thought a barre class was going to be a pretty easy work out but it is TOUGH.
Your first barre class at VIBE Lexington Barre, Yoga, Fitness
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: required here, and sold on-site if you don’t have a pair; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
