Pure Barre Leesburg is the first Pure Barre gym I tried and I am so glad I did! The staff and instructors are always so friendly and supportive, happy to talk to you before or after class about any questions you might have, and truly make it feel like a community.
I started taking PB back in 2017 when they first opened in Leesburg and quickly became addicted to the workout and the community. I took a break after having my daughter in 2018 and then Covid derailed my return even further. I can’t say enough about what PB has done for me, not just physically.

I have been going to this location for almost 3 years and I was utterly nervous about joining a group fitness studio because of being shy and my condition yet I pushed myself and I joined. From the moment I started the instructors and members have been nothing but welcoming and kind.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: required here, and sold on-site if you don’t have a pair; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
