From the reviews

I came to Sunkissed about 1.5 years ago, it took me at least a year to even drive there and go through the door. I instantly fell in life with the community of women and the support for one another they all have. It’s really hard for a middle aged women to find balance and acceptance and time for herself.

I LOVE OPC! I just joined about a month ago and I can already feel myself getting stronger. I cannot wait to see the changes made after a longer amount of time with the studio. My favorite are the reformer and Barr classes. An extra benefit that I wasn’t expecting when I became a member was the amazing community!

You have to try Pilates with Donelle (or any of the amazing instructors at Sunkissed)! Even if you don’t like to exercise or don’t like yoga, THIS exercise just may be the game changer for you. The focus is on core work, strengthening, and general health and mobility. Arms and legs weak? No problem.

I joined January 2, 2024. The staff is all in to help me achieve my goals. Donelle is always trying to improve the communities she serves. The Marlow studio offers a variety of services.

Your first barre class at Oklahoma Pilates | Core

New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: required here, and sold on-site if you don’t have a pair; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Barre is low-impact, so it suits most bodies and fitness levels — but if you're pregnant or working around an injury, check with a doctor and let your instructor know so they can offer modifications.
