From the reviews
By far the best experience I’ve ever had working out! I’ve been a member going on 5 months now and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. From the instructors to the environment, the atmosphere is very welcoming and encouraging!
I've had such an incredible experience at Barre Nation. I was a complete newbie to Barre and was a little intimidated to begin. As soon as I walked in for the first time the studio was so beautiful and the people were so kind and accepting.
I just took my first class at Barre Nation. The shopping center in Nexton was easy to get to and had plenty of parking. The owner Nicole was very sweet. She gave me a tour and explained how everything worked. The class was great and everyone was very welcoming. The studio was beautiful and clean.
I joined Barre Nation to return to barre style workouts after years since I last attended such classes regularly. Nicole operates an outstanding operation - with amazing instructors, a great community, and so many fun and creative ways to make a hard workout a lot more enjoyable.
Your first barre class at Barre Nation
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: required here, and sold on-site if you don’t have a pair; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
