From the reviews
re:form lab has become my second home! i’ve practiced pilates on the mat for 4 years and finally decided this summer to give the reformer a try. my first reformer experience ever was at re:form lab this summer, and i have been taking classes at least 3x weekly ever since!
Absolutely LOVE Reform Pilates. The studio is fantastic, the instructors warm, knowledgeable, friendly and ready to give you one amazing workout! It’s definitely my favorite place to go for “me” time. Always feel so happy (and sore in the best way) after leaving. So happy to have them in Beacon!
Every class I’ve taken here has been amazing! Love the clean setting, the modern take on pilates + barre, how well-lit the studio is (beautiful windows) and the music-oriented class options. Make sure you wear your grip socks.
I absolutely love every class you guys offer! From Vanessa’s intense whole body shaking classes to Jenn M’s thigh and calf burning mix class. I am obsessed with the vibes, the music, and the fact that I can unplug and think of nothing but pilates and my next move. Which for me is saying a lot.
Your first barre class at RE:FORM LAB
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: required here, and sold on-site if you don’t have a pair; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
