From the reviews
I absolutely love this Pure Barre location! I just tried out a class for the first time a few weeks ago and was hooked! I have always worked out, took dance/ballet when I was younger, but this was so different. It is low impact, but definitely high intensity, an incredible work out for the entire body.
I love working out at pure barre. I was pregnant with my second child when I started pure barre. They helped me modify the workout to accommodate my pregnancy. I had a smooth delivery and a fast recovery and was back doing pure barre 2 weeks after delivery.
I wish I had found Pure Barre 40 years ago! EVERY single workout is challenging-just over 500 workouts (investments in me.) My body has responded to the consistent gentle challenges with a super strong core and increased definitions in both upper and lower body without joint issues.
The instructors are very knowledgeable and personable. I see how my body is changing and I’m loving the results! It also gives me 50 minutes of peace! No worries no issues to think about! Again, the instructor’s are kind, understanding and want you to succeed! They are my biggest cheerleaders!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: required here, and sold on-site if you don’t have a pair; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
