From the reviews
I have had a really great experience joining Pure Barre. I joined early October and have found the environment to be very empowering and rewarding. The teachers are all so kind and inspiring women who make me want to do more.
I have been attending classes at the Fishers Pure Barre studio for about a year now. Started off a little hesitant because group workouts aren’t really my thing, but the space and instructors allowed me to focus on my own workout with helpful corrections that have really improved my form, ultimately leading to better…
I never stuck with any fitness programs until I found PureBarre. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging and the instructors (Erin, Jacki, Morgen, and Allison) are attentive and always pushing you to do your best. Love the studio and the program!!
Jacki is the best Pure Barre instructor I’ve taken classes from across all of the Pure Barre locations I’ve been (NY, CA, IN). She is knowledgeable and empowering - she will push you to give at least 1% more every time with motivation. I have never left without a sweat - regardless of the type of class.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
