Love it! Tried a foundations class in January 2021 and was hooked. It is a great stress reliever for me and am doing to improve flexibility. Classes are challenging and I get a lot out of them! Pure Barre Noblesville had me hooked from my first class. The instructors are wonderful and very helpful. The environment is so welcoming. I was able to see results within 6-8 classes. I enjoy that it is low impact and has also improved my flexibility.

I absolutely love Pure Barre, and I’m really enjoying this studio. My only feedback is regarding class timing. I’ve been attending this location for about two months now, and I’ve noticed that every class I have been to doesn’t start or end at the scheduled times.

Your first barre class at Pure Barre

New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Barre is low-impact, so it suits most bodies and fitness levels — but if you're pregnant or working around an injury, check with a doctor and let your instructor know so they can offer modifications.
