⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jenny’s Pilates & Barre is absolutely amazing! The instructor is knowledgeable, encouraging, and create such a welcoming environment for every fitness level. The classes are challenging in the best way — you leave feeling stronger, energized, and accomplished every time.
I have known Jenny for a long time, longer than she has been teaching Pilates. I am not a pilates user or person, but over the years, I have attended her classes in many different gyms and studios. Her classes are consistently packed, and in gyms where they have sign-ups, they are usually at or over capacity.
Jenn is truly the best Pilates instructor I’ve ever met! She’s highly trained, very pleasant yet motivational, extremely focused on proper technique. If you want to fall in love with your body again- please come check her out.
Your first barre class at Jenny's Pilates & Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
