From the reviews
I haven’t worked out in a year and I wanted to get back into some kind of physical activity. I do think this is one of the better workout studios in east Pearland.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I really enjoy Pure Barre because every class is a little different with a mix of workouts, so it never gets boring. The location is super convenient since it’s close to my house, and each instructor is so nice and welcoming. It makes working out something I actually look forward to!”
I genuinely love pure barre. After my last baby I've gained a lot of weight and struggled to get it off. I made it a goal this year to start working through that and opted to join some local fitness outlets to help me.
After my first PureBarre class I was unsure if I would ever be able to move again - but I did, and then I went back for more and I’ve been a PB “lifestyle” member ever since! Even on the days I struggle through every tuck and pulse and lift, I’m always glad I went to class.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
