From the reviews
This studio is so welcoming, responsive and flexible with excellent instructors. The classes are challenging (in a good way) but the culture is friendly and empowering. Start with Foundations if new and work your way up to Reform at your pace; it’s also neat to try Empower, since it has more cardio.
I’ve been going for a couple of years now and I will forever be grateful for the support I’ve found at this studio. The workouts are fun, challenging, and encouraging. All of the staff is so warm and helpful. They were so flexible with me during my pregnancy and postpartum season.
LOVE LOVE LOVE these girls!!! my fav group. can't wait to go back home to pure barre pinecrest studio, my favorite workout in miami. very fun group, great music, great teachers, & great ppl to get to know outside of a workout. the clothes sold in store are also super cute. great location
Classes with Ann are always great! The moves in the classes are deceptively simple, but wow they really burn. Adding this class to my workout routine has really helped me with my flexibility and I feel maybe helped tone a little more than just doing the usual at the gym.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
