From the reviews
I love workout classes but had never tried Barre until Barre3. Not only is the class a great workout, but I really appreciate that the instructors are willing to give you as much or as little input as you want.
Barre3 is a great workout that keeps me engaged and motivated. Julie has boundless energy and does a great job checking in with everyone before class. Some of the choreography takes some time to get used to, but with any class there is a learning curve.
I’ve really been enjoying the experience at Barre3 Cherry Creek. The studio is gorgeous, and all of the instructors that have led the classes have been so positive & encouraging. Definitely a good workout & harder than I expected!
I absolutely love barre3 and the Cherry Creek studio. I initially began postpartum after my first child and now 3+ years later haven’t looked back. The workout is full body and ever changing so no two workouts are exactly the same. I’ve also enjoyed the more recent addition of specific strength and cardio classes.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
