From the reviews
Whether you are a seasoned athlete or at the beginning of your fitness journey, Inspiring Fitness has got a class for you! I have been a member of this studio for over a year now and it has truly changed my body and the way I see fitness.
Inspiring Fitness is my happy place! From the moment I walked in, I knew I’d found something special. The mix of HIIT, yoga, and Pilates classes (my favorite is hot Pilates) keeps things fresh, but it’s the extra touches—like the breathtaking rooftop sunset yoga sessions every month—that truly set this studio apart.
This is my favorite studio in Baltimore! You can tell Stacey, the owner, really cares about your experience and she is always working to improve the studio and bring in new things like fitness instructors, equipment to enhance your exercises, and events to enjoy!
Inspiring fitness is the best. Stacey gets to know you and is always incredibly welcoming. Her classes don’t mess around and she makes you work for it. Love all of the yoga instructors there too. Rooftop yoga is amazing and should be on anyone’s Baltimore bucket list
Your first barre class at Inspiring Fitness - Personal Training, Yoga, HIIT, Pilates
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
