From the reviews
I am so happy that this studio has opened! Totally recommend going, if you like spin, or even if you have never tried it. The instructors will guide you through the class, and I guarantee you will enjoy the energy in the room!! Shoes are provided, and there are shower/locker rooms as well.
4/30/25 UPDATE: You’ll be pleased to know that Resistance Cylce is still THE PREMIER place to be! And, it isn’t just for the ass-kicking, confidence building, strength gaining spin classes. Oh no! Kelly and her staff of coaches provide so much more!
I wanted to wait a few months before posting a review - I've been coming here since July. I went for a free intro class & signed up for the 10 day unlimited promo they have immediately.
Resistance Cycle has truly changed my life. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm, positive community. The energy here is unmatched. Every ride is uplifting, challenging, and fun. Kelly, the owner, is seriously the best. She’s built something so special here.
Your first barre class at Resistance Cycle
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
