From the reviews
Incredible workout, wonderful people. Studio is lovely, bathrooms available. Shower not currently due to COVID. THE OUTDOOR CLASSES ARE AMAZING! it’s in a great spot, easy to get to. Bring water, yoga mat for the outdoor classes. You can be barefoot or with shoes (outside).
I have only attended classes at Barre3 Bend for about a month, but I already love it. They are challenging and I always feel sore after class, but I also feel energized, strong and not completely depleted, like other workouts have made me feel.
I have been coming to Barre3 Bend faithfully for almost 10 years now. As someone who can get bored with the same workout routine, it just goes to show you how AMAZING Barre3 Bend instructors are. Heather, in particular, who has been there forever, never fails to give me a challenging yet different workout each time.
For a long time I did my workouts from home. Lots of HIIT and weight lifting. But, low back pain and Beach Body burnout left me wanting something fun, different, and motivating. My friend took me to Barre3 in January 2018 and I loved it! I am now a member and go to Barre3 4-6 times a week.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
