From the reviews
I joined Pure Barre Bend one year ago today, just 6 weeks after my 2nd hip replacement. I was doing post surgery PT and I asked my Physical Therapist his thoughts on starting Pure Barre and he said to absolutely DO IT! I took the introductory class and joined on the spot!
A life changing workout, both mentally and physically!! I'm the strongest I've ever been at 42. I love to start my mornings before work with a class. It sets me up to have an amazing day. I've met so many friends and feel like Pure Barre is my second home. All the instructors are amazing.
The sweetest humans who have ever graced the planet work at Pure Barre Bend. They are not only incredibly knowledgeable about their craft but also approachable, encouraging, and kind.
The studio has been the best and most unexpected community of support that I didn’t know that I needed. The journey to living an intentionally healthier & more active life is a daily challenge for me.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
