From the reviews

This place seems fairly new to me as there are current founding member specials for 2019. I’m really unsure about the negative reviews previously but so far my experience has been great. Jessie and Heather maintain small group classes which allow them to focus on you a lot better individually.

I went to my very first class at Lagree Pulse 45 and honestly didn’t know what to expect. I’ve done all kinds of workouts in the past, but this one was on a whole new level. Within minutes I realized it was going to challenge me in ways I hadn’t felt before.

Long overdue review! Where has this place been my whole life?! Obsessed! After crossfit tore my body up I went to hit classes...high intensity and weights. After awhile my body started screaming at me. My hips hurt daily even after motifying the workouts. My functional doc told me about lagree...

I started Lagree here a few weeks ago and signed up for their holiday package and I am loving it! I’ve told everyone who will listen to come check them out. The workout is a great slow burn but the staff is so great, so helpful and friendly while getting set up and learning about the workout.

Your first barre class at Lagree Pulse 45- KC’s only Elite Lagree Fitness + VersaClimber Studio & TRX-Barre-Yoga-Pilates + Combo Classes

New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Barre is low-impact, so it suits most bodies and fitness levels — but if you're pregnant or working around an injury, check with a doctor and let your instructor know so they can offer modifications.
