From the reviews

The class that I had was really exciting it was the classic the instructor was full of energy at 5 in the morning lol. I was looking for the align class for more flexibility but the times that are available I can't do so they definitely need more align classes or instructors other than that purre bar is a fine…

I love doing pure barre at this location. The workout is great and the instructors are so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I especially enjoy classes with Alexi. I'm just really starting out and Alexi makes me feel so welcomed in her classes.

I started doing Pure Barre in February 2018 on a whim. I felt like I needed to do something to hold myself accountable on fitness. It did that for me and so much more, stabilizing my back, strengthening my core, and giving me a healthy environment filled with positive, hardcore women like me. I fully recommend PB.

Your first barre class at Pure Barre

New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Barre is low-impact, so it suits most bodies and fitness levels — but if you're pregnant or working around an injury, check with a doctor and let your instructor know so they can offer modifications.
