What's on offer
From the reviews
I just took a class with Kimber and it was great! The Barre workout was amazing, those small movements really sneak up on you and I know I'll be sore tomorrow. And the view of the river is beautiful! I'm looking forward to my next class at The Den!
PEAK has top notch instructors and a variety of classes that no one else in the area provides in a studio atmosphere. The classes are challenging and most are acceptable for all fitness levels.
I felt very comfortable on my first visit, the place, the music class and of course Megan she is amazing.
Such a great workout, always! But the staff is really what makes Peak the best, I could never go to a regular gym ever again!
Your first barre class at Barre Yoga Batavia
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
