“I discovered them on ClassPass and now I'm a regular, I especially love Katie and Evita's classes.”
“While being in class is always the ideal, virtual classes are the next best thing and the instructors push me and correct my form just as if I was in studio with them.”
“As someone who’s active in both cardio and resistance training, I still found the classes provide a great challenge.”

From the reviews
I have been a devotee of Physique for 17 years now! Physique has seen my body through wedding day preparation, THREE kids (one of whom was born just hours after a Physique class), turning 40, turning 50 and peri-menopause...and that's just my journey so far. There aren't enough words to describe my love for Physique.
I've been going to Physique57 for over 10 years(all 3 different Soho studios over the years as well as FiDi when it was open) and it remains one of my favorite workouts! It is fun, all of the instructors are awesome- energetic, helpful with adjustments and encouraging.
Here's a glowing review for Physique 57: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Physique 57 is more than just a barre workout studio; it's a transformative experience! From the moment I stepped inside, I felt welcomed by the vibrant community and enthusiastic instructors.
17 years committed to Physique and I still can't get enough! I started working out with Physique at 23 years old and am still absolutely loving it at 40 years old! That speaks volumes...
Teacher training at Physique 57 - Soho Studio
Physique 57 - Soho Studio comes up for teacher training — confirmed on their own site. If you're thinking about becoming a barre instructor, a few things are worth asking up front. First, which certification the program leads to — many boutique studios run a proprietary, method-specific training (Pure Barre, Bar Method, and barre3 each certify you in their own format), while others offer a more general barre certification you can teach anywhere. Second, the schedule and prerequisites — trainings often run as intensive weekend blocks or over several weeks, and most studios want you taking classes there regularly first. Third, cost and payment plans, and whether tuition includes an unlimited membership for the training period. Teacher training is a real commitment of time and money, so it's worth a call or an info session before you enroll.
Your first barre class at Physique 57 - Soho Studio
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
