From the reviews
Absolutely love True 40 and can’t recommend this enough. After not working out for a bit and approaching the “grandma” stage of life I took just one class and couldn’t get enough. They are warm and welcoming, the classes are easy to follow, the exercises are easy to modify (and they help you through the modifications).
True40 has given me all of the things I have been wanting in a workout studio! The classes are challenging but something I always look forward to! The community is one of my absolute favorite parts of the studio! I feel so supported by all the staff and members and have met so many new friends through True40!!
My new favorite gym routine! True40 is an incredible low impact, high intensity, strength training workout. All the instructors are knowledgeable, challenging and empowering. Each exercise comes with alternative moves and you are encouraged to do what feels right for your body. Bonus points for great music!
The best workout with the best people! You walk in and instantly feel welcomed. My first time going they helped me set up my station and explained everything to me. The instructors help tailor the workout to meet individual needs as well which is nice. Have loved True40!
Your first barre class at True40 Studio Auburn
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
