We took one class while visiting Nashville. Absolutely in love with the athmosphere and the class itself!
Visiting from the UK on holiday and thought I’d use ClassPass to get some workouts in whilst in Nashville. This was the first class I used on the pass having booked it only 45 minutes before and the whole experience was fantastic. I was welcomed by a lovely girl on the desk (sorry I forgot your name!
First consistent month of Pure Barre has been the most rewarding experience. I love that the classes are 50 minutes, they fly by and they target every area. I also do strength training outside of barre which has given me the base and training I need to healthily endure my workouts but this class has a true focus on…
I went here while I was visiting Nashville for the weekend and absolutely loved it! The studio is great, the instructors are so kind and the staff is amazing as well. The space is beautiful and clean, great space to hold your belongings. I got in a great workout!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
