From the reviews
I love the align classes at Pure Barre! At first I was hesitant due to having health issues but all of the instructors are super nice and work with my condition. I can't get enough, every time I leave class, I feel relaxed, energized and rejuvenated!
UPDATE: At nearly 1,000 classes and go almost every day. It has kept me challenged and has become a fun part of my day! The instructors are always top notch! 3.5 years ago... Enjoying my first month at Pure Barre Short Pump. After 7 classes, all instructors have been challenging, friendly and helpful.
I love pure barre so much! From my first class I felt so welcomed. Everyone is so friendly. The staff is amazing! Pure barre has changed my life. I have never been to the gym before going to pure barre. I now love going to barre and love doing physical activity.
I wanted to leave this review from the great customer service I have received so far. I hope I’m not reviewing too early but I have been to two classes. Being anxious and exited to start this form of classes I have twice messed up my dates for classes.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
