I recently moved into the area and hadn’t done any classes for years. My first visit was Loren’s Saturday morning Pilates. It was awesome! Loren was so kind and made me feel totally comfortable for my level. Even though the class was full I felt like I got personalized instruction.
I’ve been so motivated to return to this facility after starting classes here. The instructors have been incredibly helpful, especially considering I have a completely dislocated tailbone. Each one has offered assistance to help me continue moving without causing further injury.
A awesome barre yoga & workout to focus on toning muscles and core strength and flexibility. Wonderful instructors and ladies that attend. Make you feel comfortable and welcome. ☺ 🧘♀️ work at your own pace without judgement.. The owner is so gracious and kind. Beautiful Souls. ♥
I love this place! Barre! Pilates! Yoga! Aerobics! You can find it all here. There is a class to fit all schedules. It also has a lovely boutique with the cutest workout clothes and casual wear.
Your first barre class at Brickhouse Barre fitness
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
