I’ve been a member of many gyms, from CrossFit, other class style gyms, to conventional gyms, to exclusively working out with personal trainers at multiple locations.. and nothing compares to AF. The sense of community and support of the staff AND members is like nothing I’ve ever experienced.
Joining this gym is the best decision I’ve made. Showing up consistently has transformed my health and happiness while also allowing me to reach weight loss goals I had previously only dreamed of. The staff are amazing. All the trainers are very knowledgeable and help push you to the next level.
his gym is fantastic! Everyone is so welcoming. The trainers really get to know you and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you are at. They are always there to help me modify an exercise in class that I'm not quite ready for considering I am about 100lbs overweight.

What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
