From the reviews
Treetop Yoga is one of the nicest yoga studios I have ever been to. The physical space is as beautiful as the people who work there.Their mindful approach helps us embody all the physical and spiritual exercises that makes yoga such a powerful practice.
I love Treetop yoga and have been taking classes there for about 8 years! The teachers are excellent and the two studios are lovely & clean. I haven't been able to attend in person since the start of the pandemic and the zoom classes (now hybrid) have been a lifesaver! This is the BEST studio on the North Shore.
I have been attending yoga classes at Treetop for about 4 years now and cannot stress enough how grateful I am for such an incredible establishment. The teachers are caring, knowledgeable individuals that not only create a unique series for each class, but thoughtfully assist the participants with improving their…
Treetop Yoga is the place I have been looking for - a space to learn and grow, where we are accepted at whatever level we are at (I am a beginner) and the community is supportive and nurturing. There are many classes for all levels of ability, and so I know as I learn more, there will be classes to accommodate me.
Your first barre class at Treetop Yoga Studio
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
