From the reviews
Best membership I invest in... by far! I rarely write reviews, but every once in a while, you come across a small business that's worth taking a few minutes to recognize.....The Body Lab is one of those places.
I rarely take the time to write reviews, but The Body Lab deserves one. I’m a 5:30 a.m. girlie who likes to get my workout in before work, and I was looking for something different. Lagree was completely new to me.
I really enjoy all the classes at The Body Lab! I started with the Lagree classes and have since tried most of the low-burn class options. I love the variety, and the instructors are amazing, motivating, and make every class so much fun. I’m officially hooked!
Your first barre class at The Body Lab Spectrum- Lagree | Yoga | Pilates | Barre | Infrared Sauna
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
