From the reviews
It was my first time taking a spin class and I absolutely loved it. Great music and just a bunch of ladies getting healthy and having fun. I'm so excited to have this place here in our small town and I have no doubt it's just gonna keep growing!
From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed into what felt like a little fitness family. As someone new to McMinnville, it was exactly what I needed. The community here is amazing. Everyone is so supportive and empowering. No matter your fitness level, you’re cheered on like a rockstar.
If Abby (the owner) only knew how much her opening the Bike Barre here in McMinnville means to me…with that,I mean that this place has changed my life! It’s a cool thing to experience something that helps you mentally and physically.
If you're looking for a place filled with awesome people and the best support group you have found it! I have been taking bike classes for about 2 months now and I have fell in love with this Barre and the people too!
Your first barre class at The Bike Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
