From the reviews
Amazing place to come and tuck, pulse and more. The environment is so welcoming and encouraging. Every instructor has been nothing but professional and uplifting, assisting with small or big adjustments to safely preform each isolated movement.
Have really enjoyed this location so far. Instructors are all very friendly and do their best to remember your name. Are all very helpful and the classes are always just a bit different. Lots of different times to work with any schedule as well.
I found PBVH on a whim but stuck with it for almost two years until I moved recently. The instructors and staff are incredible! They are happy to answer any questions and are great at helping you make adjustments to get the best workout for you.
For the very first time, I found a workout that I truly enjoy and be consistent. I love all the instructors, they are engaging and are very good with correcting your form. I used to do physical therapy for my neck and back pain, after doing pure barre for 2 months my neck and back pain are now gone! It is so worth it!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
