What members say again and again
“I’ve taken a variety of classes and have enjoyed each of them.”
From the reviews
I have attended group classes on and off with Orinoco Fitness for years and have always loved them. This winter I began doing private yoga classes and my only regret is not starting sooner.
I have been attending Orinoco classes 2-3 times per week and feel that my fitness level is much improved. I especially like the Yoga Flow with Cindy and the Trim & Tone class with Ana.
Totally recommend Orinoco Fitness! I’ve taken a variety of classes and have enjoyed each of them. They do a great job of having classes for all levels of fitness.
A tiny hub with lots to offer. Zumba, yoga, barre and much more.. I enjoyed my time here in Zumba classes.
Your first barre class at Orinoco Fitness
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
