From the reviews
I used to go to this gym when I was a student at Sherman College of Chiropractic. This place is amazing! The staff were kind and welcoming and the workout cannot be replaced by any other barre or gym workout.
This is a fantastic studio! Incredibly friendly staff in a great location. The workout hit all the areas women want to target (buns, thighs, arms and abs) and the variety of the class made it go by quickly. I’ve done pure barre all over the country and this studio is top notch. Highly recommend!
Participated in a free foundations class for the grand reopening. OMG! The class was intense, used muscles I haven't used in years. Cant wait for my next visit! Thanks Pure Barre!
Exactly what I was looking for! A challenging workout, variety of classes and class times. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere as well.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
