From the reviews
So happy my friend introduced me to Pure Barre last year! Been going at least 2 times a week for the last year and I have been loving the workouts we do- really feel the muscles burning! (In a good way lol).
Hannah's class is absolutely wonderful! She is professional, personable & an absolute blast. Amazing class & highly recommend!
My extra COVID weight is gone from working out at Pure Barre Reno South as well as North three times per week. I also eliminated processed foods. The best teachers I’ve ever experienced with a 50-60 min workout, high intensity and low impact. It incorporates every muscle in my body.
I've been doing Pure Barre since 2016. It’s a great option if you're looking for a low-impact workout that still delivers results. I have noticed a real improvement in my muscle tone and core strength. The instructors are amazing and always there to help with modifications when needed.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
