From the reviews
I normally go to and have a membership at a different location, but I come here when my regular studio is unavailable on those very rare occasions. The teachers, staff, and students are very kind. Each studio is unique, but all of the workouts are both fun and very challenging!
I love the sisterhood and wonderful talent instructors. This is a place where you can feel empowered to exercise and continue to challenge yourself in each and every class.
PBM is the ONLY workout I've stuck with for a long period of time! I struggled to find a workout I actually enjoyed for a long time, but since joining PBM 2 years ago, I've finally found a consistent workout that still challenges me and has made me much stronger.
I am a Neuromuscular Therapist and very excited to have been introduced to Pure Barre Mason. This workout is the first I've ever done that focus' on the muscle attachment points to truly create a nearly perfect body. I'm very pleased to be teaching my 42 year old muscles how to reshape and refine themselves!!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
