From the reviews
This group exercise follows a format with instructors who are caring, fun and ensure the body is positioned correctly to avoid injury. I sweat from my head to ankles every session, push myself to do better every class and end each class on an endorphin high.
If someone is thinking of making the leap to join Pure Barre without a doubt I say, do it! It’s such a wonderful community of people and the changes you’ll notice in yourself are so worth it. An hour a few times a week will dramatically increase your strength and flexibility, along with so many other benefits.
Love workouts at Pure Barre LS! Great mix of predictable routine and variety. Appreciate the cleanliness and focus on COVID-safe group fitness. The instructors are all amazing and personable without being annoying. The atmosphere is very encouraging; not intimidating.

Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
